HURRICANE HELENE

As far as we know, we report, with abundant thanksgiving to the Lord for his mercies, that the OPC was largely spared from the direct impact of Hurricane Helene. This is both in the Presbytery of the South and the Presbytery of the Southeast. There have been countless downed trees and many are without power. Those needs are being addressed by church members within the region. That being said, we know that sister NAPARC churches have been affected. So we are in the process of making inquiries with our sister denominations to find out how we can be of assistance. Updates will be posted to www.opcdisasterresponse.org/ and/or www.facebook.com/OPCDisasterResponse/.  Please join us in praying for those suffering at this time.
